When Nick's family was in town we all went to a U-pick blueberry field. Everyone put their blueberries in buckets, even the other children. Keyton furiously picked berries and put them in his mouth.

The Gorge

We visited Multnoma Falls, Crown Point, and other scenic Columbia Gorge places.

the beach

Nick's family came to Portland for the weekend. We thought it would be fun to take a day trip to the coast. It was raining. We got all wet. The kids got cold. We all laughed and then cried.

New tricks

Keyton has been learning a lot of new tricks here in Oregon. First Larry teaches Keyton that helmets are fun--tap tap tap. Banany takes us on a bike ride so Keyton can spot dogs and exclaim "weeeeee". Keyton has also learned to row his suitcase boat and is getting ready to either chop onions with his grandma or go skiing with his grandpa. Good times.

We finally made it!

Nick and I are the last in the entire Hansen family to make it to my dad's cabin in Montana. We had a great weekend and even got to visit with some friends we made in Tonga who live in Canada who drove down to see us.

Happy Anniversary

Nick and i celebrated the big 4 last month at the Oregon coast in Newport.

Granny Banany's

Keyton has found all sorts of fun things to do at his grandma's: swimming in the pool , playing in the laundry basket, and eating corn on the cob and otherwise making a big mess. good times.

Keyton is a Hoser

This is Keyton playing in his pool in the alley. When its hot Lachelle sticks him in it and lets him play with the tennis balls and tupperware until he or she starts crying. He is learning to drink from the hose, although with relatively limited success. One day he'll be peeing in the yard and bragging to his friends that he caught huge air of a bike jump he built out of 2x4's and plywood from the garage. They grow up so fast . . .

an ode to dads

Here's to dads, uncles, grandpas, and all men everywhere who give piggy-back rides, apply bandaids, and change diapers. We couldn't do it without you.
