Digi Nirvana

My friend Carina (pictured here as the blue pregnant care bear, Halloween 2006) recently finished a PhD program in design and is starting her own digital scrap booking web site. Her store is having a preview sale this week and I told her I'd do a little shameless advertising. So check it out:

While Nick carved Keyton's handprint into the jack-o-lantern, Keyton made a mess. What says Halloween more than a kid wearing pumpkin guts on his head?

Build a Bear

While in Boise Gramma Becky took her 3 grandkids to Build a Bear. One grandkid excitedly made her stuffed hippo. Another sat politely in his stroller. My son pulled things out of bins and dropped kicked merchandise all over the store. He's lucky he has such a great Auntie Em to take him to play on the toys. We got a picture of the kids and their new stuffed animals on our way out. Thank you Gramma!!

Family Pictures

It's everyones favorite activity. . .family pictures!! There is a reason that families only do this every 10 years. Everything went fine, all things considered and I think these turned out great. The first is my favorite!

Pumpkin Patch

We were in Boise last weekend and went to the pumpkin patch, although you can tell by the pictures that the pumpkins were not the most exciting part. We had a great time and yes, it was my first time in a corn maze.

Dad's Little Helper

Nick gets and A+ for carrying in groceries.

Keyton is a quick study and now loves to help too.

Although he's usually not that much help. The door is over here Keyton.

He wants to help with everything. 15 years to go. . .

Minneapolis Sculpture Garden

We went to the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden on Saturday. Keyton and Nick thought Spoon Bridge and Cherry was so big!

Mom and Keyton liked Horseman. Keyton said: "hoy, hoy, hoy. . ." which is to say "horse, horse, horse. . ."

Keyton liked the Calder mobiles,

and playing in the flowers. What a beautiful day!
