White Whine

I heard an interview on NPR with the creator of White Whine, a website dedicated to the pathetic complaints of rich white people. Just remember the next time you are complaining about your iPhone to not whine too loudly because there are a lot of people in this world trying to voice real concerns.

That's Trouble

Nick was busy in our room. I was busy down stairs. Keyton was playing in his room, when I started to hear him whimpering. I found him in the corner only wearing a diaper and shoes (I think that one can be blamed on Dad, not Keyton) with two fist fulls of Vaseline. What a slimy mess!

Ramps with Dad

I couldn't choose just one. While a little long, all are funny in there own right. Keyton is lucky to have such a fun dad to play with! Did I mention it's cold outside?

Playing Inside

With temperatures like that (and this week is warmer than last week) we've been playing a lot inside: practicing smiling, playing hide-and-go-seek, and of course building Lego towers.

Special Guest on a Nationally Syndicated Talk Radio Show

Well, actually I just called on my way to the Wednesday night activity, but they let me get on air and rant about how to properly pronounce "Boise." This is just a snippet because I managed to increase my national exposure to over one minute, involving multiple pressing issues of our day (after wrapping up the Boise discussion, we moved on to the proper pronunciation of a neighboring western state). I'm hoping this turns out to be my big break into radio.

Boise with an S

P.S. You know how when you record yourself and you listen to it later and you always think, man, I don't always sound like that, do I? Well imagine that, and the person you're talking to has probably never even heard of Boise, and you're trying not to hit the car in front of you that stopped quite abruptly several feet before the stopping line at a red light. What I'm trying to say is I sound like an idiot.

Banana phones

All my pictures from Christmas are getting sent to me on a CD from my sister's camera. Until they arrive, here are some old ones I forgot to post. Keyton is the only toddler I know who has the word Skype in his vocabulary. He loves to skype his aunts and grandparents. Here is he talking to his Granny Banany, both on banana phones.
