April in review
After singing for spring with the kids at church, we woke up to this the next morning. I know it's pretty but enough is enough. Anyway my disgust is justified, this snow killed my tulips.
When the snow finally melted we headed to the zoo with the rest of the twin cities to see the baby animals on the farm. Despite sunny skies and a warm forecast, the wind was bitter cold. Hordes of freezing children in their jackets sans hats and gloves were forced to endure baby animals in the cold by their parents who had already maneuvered the crowds and paid ridiculous zoo admission and were not going home without a picture of their child and a baby chick even though they were also freezing. Good times had by all.
Nick's cousin Brian and family came to visit us for the weekend from Chicago. We spent the weekend watching conference and doing Minnesota things, such as Al's breakfast. Keyton spent the weekend following baby Wesley around giving him hugs, jabbering at him in high pitched baby talk, and otherwise idolizing his every move.
Keyton continues his list of firsts in the month of April: The first time he puts on his monster boots by himself. (Note they are on the wrong foot).
The first hand full of olives, applied all by himself.
The first tower using all 125 legos. Pants optional.
