Flora Indiana Hog Jog
Briana and her brood came up for the weekend. We ventured to the zoo where the kids dug for dino bones.
And pet a corn snake.
And had a dance party. (Notice there is no picture of us sleeping. That activity didn't happen so much.)
Saturday was the big race. Briana and I are looking ridiculous as always and apparently having a good time about it.
Nick did awesome. Briana also took first place in her age group and I took 5th I think? Needless to say it was a small race.
Nick watched all 6 kids (ages 6 and under) to the puzzlement of the crowd while Briana and I ran.
Keyton and the other kids ran in the runt run. The ribbons were cool, but even better was the coupon for free ice cream cones.
Afterwords we all felt like doing this, although Dallas was the only one smart enough to do so.

Two hot mommas with babies to entertain make a standing date at the water park Wednesday afternoons where they analyze tattoos, body fat and swim suit choice, and perfect the finer points of laissez-faire parenting.
The babies are thrilled.
The big kids too.
After we are all watered out and have dined on gourmet sack dinners we head to the sand area. Keyton builds castles.
Eddie eats sand.
Nick gets the kids rinsed off and shepherds us home.

Lola, you are on notice for learning how to climb out of your pack-n-play.
After three sleepless nights your parents are tired and want to sell you on craigslist. Nick jumps into action with his mad jimmy-rigging skills. He removes the crib mattress and lashes the pack-n-play pad to the bottom of the crib giving us an extra 6" and voila!
I'd like to see you climb out of that baby.
